How our pricing works

We charge per item, not per kilo. You count what you are sending, read the rate off the tables above, and you know your bill before a rider leaves our branch. The tabs cover male, female and children items, household pieces such as bedding and curtains, and bulk wash for larger loads.

Every price includes the full process: inspection, stain treatment, washing or dry cleaning, ironing, packing and delivery within our coverage areas. There is no separate finishing charge and no surprise line at the end.

Common prices at a glance

• Shirts: 800 naira coloured, 1,000 naira white, 1,100 to 1,300 naira hanging
• Trousers: 900 naira plain, 1,000 naira jeans or chinos
• Suits: 2,500 naira for two piece, 3,000 naira for three piece, 1,500 naira for a blazer or jacket alone
• Native wear: 1,500 naira for a male native set, 3,000 naira for a complete agbada, 1,500 naira for iro and buba in Ankara, 2,000 naira in lace or George
• Gowns: 1,000 naira for Ankara, 1,500 naira for lace or George, 15,000 to 20,000 naira for wedding gowns after inspection
• Bedding and household: 1,500 naira medium bedsheet, 2,000 naira large, 1,500 naira duvet cover, 400 naira pillow case, 1,500 to 2,000 naira curtains by weight
• Children: from 350 naira for a cardigan and 400 naira for trousers or a polo
• Shoes: 2,000 naira per pair for canvas and sneakers

Bulk wash for larger loads

Bulk wash suits families, guest houses, hostels and offices sending volume rather than individual pieces. It is 25,000 naira for 30 pieces, 35,000 naira for 50 pieces and 40,000 naira for 70 pieces and above.

Two conditions apply. Bulk wash is paid in full at booking, and it excludes duvets, bedsheets, suits, heavily beaded or stoned clothing and anything that needs dry cleaning. Those items are charged at their individual rates from the tables above, and we tell you which ones fall outside the bulk count before we start.

What changes a price

• The cleaning method. Water and detergent cost less than solvent, so laundry is cheaper than dry cleaning for the same garment shape.
• The fabric. Lace, George, aso oke and beaded pieces take hand work that cotton does not.
• Finishing. Hanging finish on shirts is a few hundred naira more than folded, because it is pressed and handled differently.
• Condition. Old, set or unusual stains take extra treatment, and we quote that before we start rather than adding it afterwards.

Cleaning, fumigation, rugs, sofas and leather goods are not on this list because they are quoted after inspection. Size, condition and the pest or stain involved genuinely change the work, so a published figure would be misleading. Send photos or a room count and you will have a quote the same day.

Price list questions

How much does laundry cost in Lagos?

At Expert Laundry and Cleaning Services, a t-shirt or polo is 700 naira, a coloured shirt 800 naira, a white shirt 1,000 naira and plain trousers 900 naira. Bulk wash starts at 25,000 naira for 30 pieces.

Is pickup and delivery charged separately?

Pickup and delivery is part of the service within our coverage areas around the Lekki and Ikosi-Ketu branches. If you are outside those areas, ask us when you book and we will tell you before collection.

When do I pay?

Bulk wash is paid in full at booking. For per item orders, confirm payment terms when you book, since it depends on whether you are a one off customer or on a standing arrangement.

Do these prices change?

Rates are reviewed from time to time and this page is updated when they do. The figures shown here are what we quote today, and the price you are given at booking is the price you pay for that order.
