Laundry service in Lagos, washed, pressed and delivered
Expert Laundry and Cleaning Services runs a per item laundry service across Lagos, with pickup and delivery from our Lekki and Ikosi-Ketu branches. You book a collection, we take the load away, wash it by fabric and colour, iron and pack it, and bring it back to your door. Standard orders are normally ready in 48 to 72 hours.
Laundry here means washing, drying and finishing in water with detergent, which suits cotton, linen, denim, towels, bedding and most everyday wear. Anything that water would damage, such as a wool suit, a lace gown or aso oke, goes through dry cleaning instead. If you are not sure which one an item needs, send us a photo and we will tell you before we charge you.
- Washed, dried and returned folded or on hangers
- Sorted by colour, fabric and how dirty each item is
- Stains treated by hand before the wash, not after
- Buttons, hems and loose seams checked and reported
- Pickup and delivery, or drop off at either branch
Why use our laundry service?
What we wash
Shirts, polos, t-shirts, trousers, jeans, native wear, joggers, uniforms, school wear, boxers and singlets, plus household items such as bedsheets, duvet covers, pillow cases, towels, table covers, chair covers and curtains. Choir robes, lab coats, academic gowns and legal gowns are handled regularly too, because we clean for churches, clinics and offices as well as households.
How your clothes are sorted and washed
Nothing goes into a machine straight from the bag. Every load is counted in, then separated by colour, fabric weight and soil level, so a muddy pair of jeans never shares a drum with a white shirt. Whites and light colours are washed apart from strong dyes, which matters with Ankara and other Nigerian prints that can bleed on their first few washes. Water temperature and cycle length are matched to the fabric, and delicate pieces are hand washed rather than machine washed.
Stains, repairs and the checks in between
During inspection we log any mark we find and treat it before the main wash, using the method that suits the stain: oil, sweat, ink, red wine, makeup and body cream all respond to different treatment. If we find a loose button, an open seam or a falling hem, we tell you and can fix it while the item is with us. Anything we cannot lift completely is pointed out on delivery instead of being quietly returned in the pile.
Ironing, folding and packaging
Shirts and native wear are pressed by hand, then folded or hung depending on what you asked for. Items are packed so they arrive the way they left us, which is the part most people notice: a bag of clothes you can put straight into the wardrobe with no re-ironing.
How long it takes
Standard turnaround is usually 48 to 72 hours from pickup. Bulk loads take longer, and express handling is available when you have a deadline, so say so at booking and we will confirm whether we can meet it before you hand anything over.
What laundry costs
Pricing is per item, not per kilo, so you can predict your bill. A t-shirt or polo is 700 naira, a coloured shirt 800 naira, a white shirt 1,000 naira, plain trousers 900 naira, jeans or chinos 1,000 naira, a medium bedsheet 1,500 naira and a large towel 1,000 naira. Bulk wash is charged by volume: 25,000 naira for 30 pieces, 35,000 naira for 50 pieces and 40,000 naira for 70 pieces and above, paid in full at booking. Bulk excludes duvets, bedsheets, suits and anything needing dry cleaning. The full price list has every category.
Who this service is for
It suits working professionals who lose their Saturdays to laundry, families with school uniforms to turn around weekly, people in serviced flats with no drying space, guest houses and short let apartments with bedding to reset between guests, and offices that want staff uniforms handled on a schedule. If you want a repeating weekly or fortnightly pickup, we can set a fixed day so you never have to book again.

Not in our care. Strong dyes are washed separately from whites and light colours, and new prints that are likely to run are washed on their own until the colour settles.
We use environmentally friendly detergents and high efficiency machines that keep water and power use down, which matters in a city where both are expensive.
