Dry Cleaning Services in Lagos
Dry cleaning
Dry cleaning in Lagos for suits, lace and delicate fabrics
Dry cleaning is cleaning without water. Instead of detergent and a wash drum, garments are cleaned in a solvent that lifts oil and grime while leaving the fibres, the shape and the colour intact. That is why suits, lace, aso oke, silk, wool and beaded pieces go this route: water swells and distorts those fabrics, while solvent does not.
Expert Laundry and Cleaning Services runs dry cleaning from our Lekki and Ikosi-Ketu branches, with pickup and delivery across Lagos. Standard orders are normally ready in 48 to 72 hours, and express handling can be arranged when you have an event to dress for.

Why use our dry cleaning service?
Which clothes actually need dry cleaning?
As a rule, anything structured or delicate. Two and three piece suits, blazers and suit jackets keep their shape because the canvas and lining inside them never get soaked. Lace, George, aso oke, damask and silk keep their sheen and their weave. Wool sweaters and winter jackets do not shrink or felt. Heavy curtains and drapes come back the right size instead of two inches shorter. Everything else, from shirts to bedsheets, is cheaper and just as clean through our laundry service, and we will tell you when that is the better option rather than upselling you.
Stain treatment before anything else
Every item is inspected under light before it is cleaned, and each mark is identified by type. Oil, red wine, ink, perfume, deodorant build up, makeup and food stains each need a different agent, and treating them with the wrong one sets the stain permanently. Old stains that have already been heat set by ironing are harder, and we will tell you honestly what we expect to achieve before we start.
Care for Nigerian formal wear
Agbada, aso oke, iro and buba, and beaded gowns need handling that a general purpose cleaner will not give them. Stones and beads are checked and secured, metallic threads are protected from heat, and pressing is done to the drape of the garment rather than flattened into it. Wedding gowns are treated as individual jobs and quoted after inspection, because beadwork, layers and the age of the stain all change the work involved.
Finishing, repairs and packaging
After cleaning, each garment is pressed by hand and inspected again. Loose buttons, open seams and falling hems found during the first inspection are repaired while the item is with us, and we tell you about them rather than sending the garment back with the same problem. Items are then bagged or hung so they reach you ready to wear.
What dry cleaning costs in Lagos
A two piece suit is 2,500 naira and a three piece 3,000 naira. A blazer or suit jacket is 1,500 naira, a lace or George gown 1,500 naira, a complete agbada 3,000 naira, aso oke 3,000 naira, iro and buba in lace 2,000 naira, and a winter jacket 2,000 naira. Wedding gowns are quoted between 15,000 and 20,000 naira after inspection. The complete price list covers male, female, children and household items.
How often should clothes be dry cleaned?
Suits and formal wear after roughly three to four wears, sooner if they have been worn in heat or around smoke. Coats and jackets once or twice a season. Occasion wear such as lace and aso oke should go in soon after the event, because sweat and body cream are invisible on the day and turn yellow months later. Storing a garment dirty is what ruins it, not wearing it.
Who uses this service
Professionals with a working wardrobe of suits and shirts, couples clearing up after a wedding or owambe, families with heirloom aso oke and lace to protect, and offices that send staff uniforms and blazers in on a schedule. If you want a standing arrangement, we can fix a collection day so it happens without you having to remember. Book a pickup on 0802 087 6279 or 0901 111 6151.
